Major Acre Farm

Major Acre Farm is a market garden farm owned and operated by Ellis Douglas and Jasmine Meyer on 1.8 leased acres near the Mississippi River in Laplace. Major Acre uses techniques made popular by Elliot Colman and JM Fortier as guidance while working within the realities of South Louisiana climate, local markets, and our specific farm layout. We started this farm from a passion of healthy local food and a desire to spend more time outside.
