About Us
The producers at Foxberry Farm & Vineyard grow exceptional fruits and vegetables, using organic practices. Owners of Foxberry Farm & Vineyard have been recognized nationally by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). WLTX News, Columbia, South Carolina featured Foxberry on several community clips, and one included conversation regarding the owners support of agritourism. The South Carolina Department of Agriculture has designated Foxberry Farm & Vineyard Certified South Carolina Grown. Beautiful "red fox" reside in and around Foxberry Farm & Vineyard, largely due to the abundant crops of blueberries, muscadines and strawberries. Owners Ann Pringle Washington and Richard Washington generally view foxes with their young from a distance. It's a lovely sight during early morning, and late evening as they gracefully stroll uninhabited sections of the farm. For this reason, absolutely no hunting is permitted on Foxberry Farm & Vineyard. The Washington's included in their farm plan a designated wetland's area as safe habitat for animals. The land is a "work in progress" as it transitions from a spacious garden to a productive farm. The Washington's host monthly workshops by demand, with groups of 10-15. Best practices of Foxberry Farm & Vineyard are shared during a 4-hour session. A $35 farm donation includes brunch, and a take home plant. For more information regarding workshops, please phone 803-353-2079.
