Fiacre Gardens is an organic community farm with gardens in urban/suburban locations in and around Rochester, NY. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, cut flowers, herbs, berries, tree fruit and grapes. We grow year-round in cold frames and plastic hoophouses. We are devoted to the art of the root cellar/
Fiacre Gardens is a multi-campus Micro-Farm. There are 6 vegetable gardens and 2 sites for cut flower and herbs, 1 vineyard, various berry patches, 20 apple trees, 6 pears, 6 sweet cherries, 2 sour cherries, 4 peaches, and 2 plums .
This year our CSA's have shares for the winter season (Oct to May), plus two fruit shares, Early Summer, and Fall Fruit. We put out a short newsletter with pickup every week, to share farm news, nutrition and cooking information, the big picture on agribusiness and small organic farmers, and inspiration to extend nonviolent action and compassionate lifestyle.
