Oakland Organic Farm

Deep in East Feliciana lies Oakland Plantation at Gurley. Built in 1827, owned by the second family since the Spanish Land grants, the McClendon family who has reclaimed traditional organic farming practices. The property is listed on the National Registry of Historic Homes and welcome visitors for tours of their vegetable gardens. The produce is tended and harvested for CSAs and Farmers Markets in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and St. Francisville. We practice biodynamic and use no artificial herbicides or pesticides to grow nutritious and delicious produce year around. We hope that you look for us and enjoy what we have to offer.
