BaaLiss Grass Farm

Both of us were raised on farms in Morrow County, Deb on a sheep farm and Clarence on a dairy farm. We live on the family farm Clarence grew up on. We changed the way poultry was raised on the farm in 2002. We raised the patented Cornish Cross Broiler successfully but were disappointed with that birds lack of vigor, flavor and found Buckeye Heritage Poultry through our contacts with The Livestock Conservancy. We raised those Cornish Cross Broilers on pasture and in a tractor. Now we use electric netting with our Heritage Buckeyes in our management intensive grazing system.
