About Us
William L. Brown Farms are growers of Southern vegetables and Elberta peaches. Our company is a family-owned and managed farming business in Macon. We love what we do. We think we have the best job in the world. We grow peaches, tomatoes, eggplant, okra, and other delicious vegetables for a wonderfully supporting customer base. It just doesn't get better than this. During each growing season, daily picking ensures that you get only the very freshest produce. While we are are well known for our sweet Elberta peaches,.. our sweet corn, vine ripened tomatoes, cantaloupes, eggplant and sweet watermelons are as good as it gets. Since extending our opening times, we have made arrangements with other growers. These other farms agree with our belief that only the best products should make it to your dinner table. From the North Georgia Apple Orchards, to the pumpkin and squash growers locally... our products reflect our commitment to serving the best customers in the world... you. General Information The Brown family farm was founded by the late William "Farmer" Brown and his wife, Debra. It has 2,500 acres that produce traditional Southern row crops like cotton and peanuts, plus fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, string beans, and Elberta peaches. Over 30 years ago, the Brown family started a roadside stand where they sold peaches from their farm in paper sacks. Over the years the roadside stand was expanded until the current facilities were constructed five years ago. The spacious market now features not only peaches and vegetables, but also a wide array of gourmet foods and home decorating items.
