About Us
We are a small farm specializing in raw honey. Our bees pollinate our orchard and garden. They have 57 acres of flowering trees, clover, and wildflowers to meet their needs for nectar and pollen; then they graciously share their honey with us. The color of the honey changes with the seasons as different flowers bloom. Believing that nature has better answers than people, we are Certified Naturally Grown. We are also members of PA Preferred.
Raw honey has a multitude of health benefits.
Anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial
Anti-inflammatory
Antioxidants
Helps digestive issues
Cough suppressant
Soothes sore throat
Heals wounds
Raw Honey will crystallize. To return it to its liquid state, place in a pan of warm water. DO NOT MICROWAVE as this will destroy the health benefits.
Often, the honey you buy in grocery stores is pasteurized or highly filtered. This involves heating the honey and removing the pollen to make the honey remain in a liquid state longer. Unfortunately, you will not gain any health benefits from this honey.
In addition to our honey bees, we have free ranging Heritage Rhode Island Red chickens, Pekin ducks, guinea fowl, India Blue peafowl, and Kiko Goats. Other products include honey candy, honey roasted pecans/ almonds, beeswax, natural beeswax candles, beeswax food wraps (to use instead of plastic wrap), feather earrings and, of course, eggs. We offer chicken and duck eggs for your dining pleasure and chicken, duck, guinea fowl and peafowl eggs for hatching.
